Lil Wayne Skateboards With Justin Bieber

Oh gawd…. Stay away from him Weezy…

Lil Wayne has been going hard at his skateboard game recently (even launching his new Trukfit clothing line) and this week the Young Money rapper paid a visit to Justin Bieber in the studio and even took some time for a skateboarding session with him. “Good time in the studio last night. back at it tonight. oh yeah…and big bro came thru…,” Bieber tweeted, linking to a photo of him and Wayne with their skateboards. “and when i say big bro i mean @LilTunechi. #BELIEVE IT #family.”

While it’s unknown whether Wayne will appear on Bieber’s album, a certain super-producer is definitely in the mix, according to another tweet: “in the studio with @timbaland and the crew. #creating… got a lot of things i want to write about. ready to make music.”

Bieber has said he hopes his new album will have a Justin Timberlake vibe, similar to what Timbaland created on FutureSex/LoveSounds.

And for those wondering how it all went in the studio, Bieber’s longtime manager, Scooter Braun, filled fans in. “got great reports on the first night with @justinbieber and @timbaland,” Braun tweeted. “Exciting stuff. heard YMCMB stopped by too. gonna be interesting.”

Believe is set to drop later this year. Bieber has already worked with Black Eyed Peas mastermind will.i.am, who will reportedly produce a song for the album. Whether Weezy will have any part on the album, Bieber has said he’s been in talks with other MCs, like pal Drake and Kanye West, to make appearances on the album.

Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Nirvana Among O Music Award Nominees

MTV has announced a second O Music Awards ceremony, to take place just six months after the first. Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, and Joe Jonas are among the nominees for the show, which takes place on Oct. 31 and aims to recognize pop culture contributions that fit the three Os: Offbeat, outrageous, and online.

If you thought the categories were strange last time, when Kanye West captured Best Tweet and Nicki Minaj won for Favorite Animated GIF, check out some of the awards MTV has planned this time around: Fan Army FTW, Oops! I Did it Online Award, WTF I Love This Award, and Too Much Ass for TV.

While many of the categories feature lesser-known nominees whose work may have gone unnoticed until now, some of music’s superstars also made the cut. VMA winners Perry and West are contenders for Best Lyric Video for ‘E.T.’ Their competition includes Jonas’ ‘See No More,’ Christina Perri‘s ‘Arms’ and Lenny Kravitz‘s ‘Stand.’

Katy Perry is also up for Best Artist with a Cameraphone, which rewards the artist who tweets and blogs the most interesting photos, but she’ll have to contend with Bieber, Demi Lovato, Young the Giant and a half-dozen others.

Another interesting category is Best Vintage Viral Video, which includes the videos of Sinead O’Connor tearing up a picture of the Pope on ‘Saturday Night Live’ and a 17-year-old Notorious B.I.G. freestyling in Brooklyn.

The last O Awards were only shown online, but the October event will be shown on one of MTV’s networks, though the exact time and specific channel have yet to be announced. The winners are determined by fan voting, so get yourself over to www.omusicawards.com to voice your opinion.
