Taking a jab at one of the sites that frequently features him in headlines, Justin Bieber pranked TMZ on April Fool’s Day on Monday (April 1).
Earlier in the day, Justin tweeted, “As promised taking all fan phone calls TODAY at (888) 847 9869. Talk to u soon!”
However, that number went directly to the TMZ tip line, potentially creating a big problem as he has over 36 million Twitter followers alone.
Though The Biebs did remove the post, fans duplicated the tweet and kept spreading the news. Meanwhile, the toll-free number means TMZ could be facing a huge bill for all the Belieber calls.
Justin Is BEAST. Hopefully that’ll teach TMZ to quit spreading lies about Bieber, though highly unlikely.

Justin Bieber reportedly flirted with lingerie model Jourdan Dunn after she accidentally flashed him during rehearsals for the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
In a new interview, Ms. Dunn told Jonathan Ross, “He said to me, ‘You’re really cute. You got nice t—s. You flashed me and my dancers and made my day.’”
“So then after the show, we was chilling with Justin and he was kind of flirting with me, and I kind of felt a bit awkward because he’s this little boy. He was 18, but I’m old enough to be his older sister. It’s kind of a bit weird.”
Jourdan added, “I laughed after it because he was 18 at the time, and I was, like, ‘Why not? Flirt with the models, do your thing.’”
Hey Beliebers, I hope everyone had a great Easter holiday! Here’s some photos Justin tweeted yesterday (March 31).
Justin Bieber had his pet monkey quarantined at an airport in Germany.
On Thursday (March 28), Justin landed in Munich for an upcoming concert and attempted to bring the exotic pet into the country without official permission.
In a statement to People magazine, Thomas Meister, spokesman for the customs office at the Franz Josef Strauss Airport explained, “Justin Bieber brought his monkey to Germany, but had no official paperwork with him,” adding, “We were forced to confiscate the animal.”
Bieber will reportedly have to pay the charges of quarantining the animal and will also be charged with a fine.
